| "The Angel's Closet" has a wish list and is always in need of new or gently used items to complete our bundles. Besides the items in the bundles, which are listed below, we are also in need of volunteers to help sort and assemble the layette bundles; civic groups, businesses and churches to have drives on our behalf; volunteers to knit, crochet or quilt blankets, hats, sweaters and booties; and monetary donations. |
Baby Layette Bundles include the following:
Hooded towels, washcloths, socks and booties, onesies, receiving blankets, outfits, sleepers, sweater/hat/bootie sets, bibs, burp cloths, snowsuits, board books, stuffed animal and a heavy blanket.
The retail value of our baby layette bundle is approximately $300. Each new bundle has a number of handmade items like booties, hats, sweater sets and blankets/quilts donated by loving ladies from throughout the Pocono Mountain area who have found us to be a haven for their handiwork. |
